The STA Series Versatile Type pairs a fixed standard input head with a swappable Adaptor Head (AH) output, so one transducer body can be reconfigured for different output head types as the work requires – while measuring torque and angle wirelessly in real time.

- Standard Input + Adaptor-Head Output: the input end is a fixed standard head – Rectangular Male (RM), Round Female (OF), Dovetail Female (DF), or Round “J” Shank Male (OM); the output end takes a snap-on Adaptor Head (AH) – RFA (Rectangular Female), OMA (Round Male), DMA (Dovetail Male), or OFA (Round “J” Shank Female).
- Body Dimensions (torque capacity under 120 Nm): approximately 83-105mm long x 48.7mm wide x 21.5-27.2mm thick, depending on the input head selected.
- Coding: STA-[Input code][size]-[torque range]-AH, e.g. STA-RM-1-0005-AH.
- Wireless Torque + Angle in One Unit: RF 2.4G (20m) or Bluetooth (15m); angle measured over 0°-360° at 0.5° resolution; static accuracy ±1% FSD (RF) / ±0.5% FSD (BT).
- Optional Multi-Capacity Tool Kit: an STA-RF-0020-RM-m-H kit (20 Nm) with REB-85 and REB-120 extension bars converts to 85 Nm and 120 Nm capacities (BT version only).

- Once the head, the STA transducer, or the wrench is replaced, calibration is required to ensure the accuracy of torque, angle sensing, and control.
- After changing any of the heads, the STA, or the wrench, and recalibrating, a new indication prompts easy scale adjustment. This makes audible clicks visible and torque data collectible.
- RF or BT wireless transmission options are available.
- RF version requires a DR-RF DONGLE signal receiver.
- Customized sizes are acceptable.

Versatile Type part numbers follow STA-[Input code][size]-[torque range]-AH, e.g. STA-RM-1-0005-AH. Input codes: RM = Rectangular Male, OF = Round Female, DF = Dovetail Female, OM = Round “J” Shank Male. AH denotes the swappable Adaptor Head output (RFA / OMA / DMA / OFA). Torque range codes span 0005 (0.5-5 Nm) through 1200 (120-1200 Nm).
